Your journal stays on your device

You choose the journal names, dates, photos, notes and measurements to record. Adult and baby templates can contain sensitive information such as weight and length. Growfolio uses these records locally to display your calendar, charts and PDF reports. We do not receive these records, operate journal accounts or upload them to our servers. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.

Purchases

Five tracking profiles are free. A one-time purchase through Google Play unlocks unlimited profiles. Google processes payment and purchase history under its privacy policy; we do not receive card details. The app checks purchase status with Google Play and keeps a signed purchase receipt locally to remember the unlock offline. This receipt is excluded from journal and Android cloud backups. Restore purchases with the same Google Play account after reinstalling or changing devices. A refund or revoked purchase can remove the ability to create extra profiles, but existing records stay accessible.

Photos and files

The app accesses photos and backup files that you select through system pickers, and stores copies needed for your journal in its app storage. Photo metadata may remain in selected files and exported backups. Only include information and photos you have permission to use, especially when recording someone else or a child.

Sharing, printing and backups

Export and print actions use your device’s system controls. You choose the recipient, printer, storage provider or app. Those providers handle the exported data under their own policies. PDFs and full backup files may contain photos, notes and measurements. Backups are not encrypted by Growfolio. Shared copies are outside our control and cannot be recalled. Your operating system may also back up app data according to your device settings; check your device backup settings.

Retention and deletion

Records remain in app storage until removed. Deleting an observation removes it from the active journal and future reports; stored image copies or previously generated PDFs can remain in app storage. To erase all local Growfolio data on Android, use Settings > Apps > Growfolio > Storage > Clear data, or uninstall the app. Separately delete exported PDFs, backups and copies held by recipients or backup providers. We cannot recover or delete files on your device for you.

Adults and children’s information

Growfolio is intended for adults. A parent or authorised caregiver may record observations about a baby. It is not a social network and does not provide public profiles, messaging or automatic sharing. Keep sensitive records and exports private.

Support and this website

If you email support, we receive the message, email address and any attachments you choose to send. Avoid sending private journal records unless necessary. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to respond and maintain support records. This website has no advertising or analytics scripts; its hosting provider may process technical request data such as IP addresses for delivery and security. You may email us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable retention requirements.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or our practices change. The current policy is available in the app and on this website.
